SATURDAY ACADEMY

CampTMP's Saturday Academy offers technique classes in dance, voice, acting, music theory and more - with topics changing every session. These classes are a great way for students to refine their skills between production-based programs and to dive deeper into specific theater topics. Saturday Academy is offered three times a year and each session offers one-three classes each session.

CLASSES

Saturdays, May 23rd to June 20th, 2026

INSTRUCTOR - Kayla Littleton

9:00-10:00 - Intro to Musical Theater

Ages 5-8

This class is designed to introduce our youngest performers to the artform of Musical Theater. Over the course of 5 weeks they will work on music, choreography and scene work to prepare them to enter our production camps this summer and beyond! (Drop ins available)

10:15-11:15 - Directing Foundations

Ages 13-19

This class is designed to introduce our teens to directing musical theater. Over the course of 5 weeks they will learn foundational directing skills like script analysis, blocking, casting and working with casts and designers. Highly recommended for our teens who hope to be on production team for a student-directed Honor Camp. (No drop ins)

11:30-12:30 - The CampTMP Audition

Ages 9-14

This class is designed to help boost confidence in auditioning leading up to summer camp. Over the course of 5 weeks students will participate in multiple mock auditions and receive feedback not only on their performance, but on their auditioning skills. Highly recommended for students who have audition anxiety. (Drop ins available)

12:45-1:45 - Building An Ensemble Character

Ages 8-13

This class is designed to reinforce the importance of a fully developed ensemble character. Over the course of 5 weeks students will learn how to create a backstory and profile for an ensemble character that helps serve the show as a whole and give motivation to their work in the ensemble. (No drop ins)

TUITION

$75 deposit + $50 = $125

($75 deposit is non-refundable)

Week by week drop in classes available for $25, still must register in portal.

Sibling Discount of $50 will be applied after registration for additional siblings enrolled. First child is full price.

Scholarships Available: Our scholarships are to give our youth who may not otherwise be able to attend CampTMP. Scholarships are available for Saturday Academy. Application can be found here.
