EDI ADVISORY BOARD 

​EDI Statement - TMP is committed to expanding opportunities for BIPOC directors, designers, musicians, and actors. Our education department is also dedicated to creating new opportunities for educators and students. With the help of our EDI Advisory Board and all involved at TMP, we are confident that we will become a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive musical theater company.

TMP meets these goals through the following actions:

• TMP created the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Board in 2020.

• The EDI board actively works with TMP's Managing Artistic Director to ensure that TMP coordinates and facilitates diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that are meaningful and measurable in the following core areas: actor development, actor and creative team representation, theater cultur and climate, and community engagement.

• An EDI representitive is identified for each TMP production. This individual receives feedback and input from actors who are underrepresented in theater and to ensure that TMP is expanding awareness and engaging in practices that promote equity and inclusion.

• TMP staff members engage in ongoing EDI training.

• The TMP Board of Directors and staff regularly evaluate TMP's MISSION, VISION, and VALUES.​
