As an integral part of the frontline of our organization, the House Manager oversees all front of house operations before, during, and after performances. The House Manager is responsible for ensuring an excellent patron experience while they are on-site for performances and serves as the on-site authority in the event of an emergency. This position oversees front of house staff and volunteers and works in tandem with the Box Office and Stage Management during performances. The House Manager will work a variable schedule based on Tacoma Musical Playhouse's production and event calendar, including Mainstage productions, Family Theater productions, Camp TMP education programs, and special events. This is a part-time, hourly position averaging 20–25 hours per week. The schedule will include evenings and weekends and will fluctuate based on the performance and event schedule. Additional hours may occasionally be available or required during particularly busy production periods or special events.

Tacoma Musical Playhouse is seeking multiple friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Box Office Assistants to join our team. Box Office Assistants help support daily box office operations and provide excellent customer service to our patrons. As a Box Office Assistant, you will often be one of the first points of contact for guests attending productions at Tacoma Musical Playhouse. You will assist patrons with ticket purchases and reservations, answer questions about performances and seating, manage will-call and event check-in, and support the staff with day-to-day responsibilities. The ideal candidates enjoy working with people, have excellent attention to detail, and are comfortable working in a busy performing arts environment. A genuine appreciation for live theater and the Tacoma community is a plus
