•Education & Outreach

• Behind the Curtain! at TMP: Attend an entertaining, informative and free preview presentation prior to each of the six TMP mainstage productions! These 90-minute, interactive presentations are designed to enhance the theater-going experience of audience members, whether familiar with the show or not.
• Youth Education: The Education Program at TMP provides an enlightening experience in musical theater arts, including instruction in both performance and technical aspects, with an emphasis on teamwork and personal growth. The youth education program serves ages 6 to 18.
• Trips & Tours: Join TMP’s directors on one of our extremely popular musical theater trips! At least twice a year, TMP hosts theater-based tours to exciting destinations like New York, Los Angeles, London, Chicago, Toronto and more.
• Senior Theater: The Young at Heart Players - TMP's Senior Theater educational program - returns Spring 2009! Class begins April 21, 2009.
• Ticket Donation Program: Tacoma Musical Playhouse is proud to be a part of an extraordinary group of charitable organizations that make Pierce County such a wonderful place to live and play. TMP awards an average of $3,000 worth of TMP & TCMT tickets annually to assist other Pierce County non-profit groups to raise funds through their own auction events.
